The (AHCAC) celebrates Black History Month with “Art of a Spiritual,” a music concert featuring Miami’s most accomplished Black opera singers performing African-American Spirituals. The concert will be held in the Wendell Narcisse Performing Arts Theater at the AHCAC, 6161 NW 22nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33142, located at the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Moonlight Way.

The “Art of a Spiritual” concert highlights the technical complexity of the old “Negro Spiritual,” (also referenced in modern times as the “African-American Spiritual”) and celebrates the boldness of their ancestors while enlightening today’s generation.
