Opera Orlando will be holding a 6-day summer intensive for high school and undergraduate college students who are looking to learn what it take to be a professional singer. Soprano Kyaunnee Richardson will a guest artist in a Q&A session where singers will be able to learn about the operatic career.

Soprano Kyaunnee Richardson will be joining Teatro Nuovo as a Studio Artist for their Summer Program 2023. Rounding out the summer season, Kyaunnee returns to Opera Orlando as a special guest for their week long summer program Opera Orlando Sings! And rounding out the summer season, Kyaunnee joins the Savannah VOICE Festival singing the roles of Kate Pinkerton in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly and reprising Donna Elvira in Mozart’s Don Giovanni.

After a successful 2021-2022 Season, Kyaunnee is excited to begin her 2022/23 Season. In October, Kyaunnee returns as a soloist with the New Presbyterian Church Concert Series in The Best of Broadway Concert. Then at the end of October, she returns to the Civic Chorale of Greater Miami as the Soprano Soloist in Schubert’s Mass in G. The at the beginning of 2023, Kyaunnee will be making her debut with the Brevard Symphony Orchestra in the concert Inspired by Bach where she will sing the Soprano Solo in the Mahler’s 4th Symphony and Villa-Lobos’ Aria from Bachianas Brasileiros No. 5 with Maestro Christopher Confessore conducting. Immediately after, she will be make her debut with the First Coast Opera reprising the role of Monica in Menotti’s The Medium.

Soprano Kyaunnee Richardson returns to Opera Orlando with an exciting line-up of arias and show tunes guaranteed to thrill and delight the summer concert crowd. Soprano Kyaunnee Richardson will be singing on an afternoon concert at the First Presbyterian Church of Delray Beach at 430P. She’ll be singing Schubert’s “Shepherd on the Rock”. Admission is free. Next, Kyaunnee will be making her debut with the Symphony of the Americas as a featured soloist on their American Classics Gershwin and Bernstein’s Broadway Concert on April 12th at 745P at the Amaturo Theatre at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.
