Soprano Kyaunnee Richardson named the special prize winner of the Sherrill Milnes American Opera Award and a semifinalist of the 2023 30th Annual American Traditions Vocal Competition.

Kyaunnee Richardson has been named one of the Quarterfinalists for the 2023 American Traditions Vocal Competition. The live competition will take place in Savannah, Georgia on February 20-24, 2023.

Kyaunnee Richardson has been named one of the finalist for the 2020 SAS Performing Arts Company and Studios Vocal Competition Opera Division. This year, the Finalist Concert will be streamed on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at 3pm via SAS Performing Arts Company and Studios Inc YouTube Channel.
Recently returning from New York City, Ms. Richardson took Third Place in the Opera Ebony Benjamin Matthews Vocal Competition 2017 and was chosen as the Audience Favorite in Harlem Opera Theatre Vocal Competition 2017. As one of the winners, Ms. Richardson will return this month to New York for a special concert with Opera Ebony.
